A plane has skidded off the runway during takeoff at Goa airport.

The Jet Airways aircraft was headed to
Mumbai with 161 people on board, including seven crew members, when the incident took place in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

Flight 9W 2374 veered off the runway at
Dabolim airport in Goa while aligning for takeoff, the Indian Express reported.
Some 12 passengers are believed to have been injured, the airline said.
