Syrians, who were evacuated from the last rebel-held pockets of Syria's northen city of Aleppo

Syrian despot Bashar al-Assad ’s forces are re-taking the last remnants of Aleppo as the final evacuation of civilians and rebels got underway.

The final fall of Syria ’s once most populated city and the country’s now destroyed financial and industrial heartland began with a convoy of
buses transporting evacuees.
A convoy of buses arrived at the Ramouseh crossing between the rebel and government sides of the city, after rebels released pro-government fighters taken prisoner in previous fighting.
Other buses arrived at the city’s rebel-held western countryside, marking the first successful evacuation in more than 24 hours and the end of chilling hitchesto the uneasy ceasefire.
