The 'drunk' man Dave covered in blood after falling through a roof of a couple's house in Plymouth

A student found bloodied and battered in a pile of broken glass by a couple in their garage has revealed the story behind this shocking picture.

The man - who has asked just to be identified as 'Dave' - says he doesn't drink much - but on this occasion the booze got the better of him.
He was found having fallen 10ft from the garden wall of Christopher and Lou Hepper -covered in blood with a deep gash on his face,The Plymouth Herald reports.Dave wants to thank the Heppers for all their help in looking after him and says he cannot apologise enough.
