Zachary Barker suffered fatal head injuries when he was hit by a car

Ex-Anfield stars have signed a nine year-old Liverpool FC fan’s replica shirt - so the schoolboy can be laid to rest wearing it this week at his funeral.

Zachary Barker tragically died 24 hours after being hit by a car in Leek, Staffs, last month on December 17th having suffered fatal head injuries.
His heartbroken mum Stephanie Barker bravely took the decision to donate little Zachary’s organs to help others live.
Now all the ex-Liverpool players at his local Premier League side Stoke City have honoured the Anfield addict by all signing a Liverpool FC replica shirt for him to wear when he is buried
this Tuesday.
Joe Allen, Glen Johnson, Peter Crouch and Charlie Adam - who all now play for Stoke -signed the Zachary’s shirt after being approached by a police liaison officer at their training ground.
Shaken Welsh midfielder Joe Allen expressed his sadness at the tragedy that happened just days before Christmas.
