Belgium top division side Gent suffered a shock 0-1 loss at home to KAS Eupen in the Belgium Pro League with three of their Nigerian players playing some part in the game.
While Eupen handed a start to wantaway forward Henry Onyekuru, only two out of the five Nigerians at Gent made the starting line-up
with Moses Simon dropping to the bench.
William Troost-Ekong was for the third game an unused substitute while Moses Simon was a 46th minute substitute, coming on for Thomas Matton.
Anderson Esiti and Samuel Kalu were on from start to finish, with Kalu picking up a booking in the 44th minute. Meanwhile Rabiu Ibrahim is
still waiting for his first game of 2017 after suffering injury to his Achilles tendon.
