Beyonce break's record with lemonade album

Beyonce becomes first woman to chart 12
songs at the hot 100 at once!
Beyonce’s critically acclaimed visual album

lemonade, which dropped on April 23 and
has dominated conversations since its
release sending the beyhive into a frenzy
trying to figure out #BeckyWith theGoodHair
(you can read about that here and here), has
scored her major points in music history as
all 12 songs off the album have debuted on
the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first
female to achieve yet another glorious feat.
This is the first time a female artiste will
chart 12 or more songs on the Hot 100 at
the same time, surpassing Taylor’s Swift’s
record of 11 songs set on November 2010
with her Speak Now album. Presently,
Justin Bieber holds the all-time record high
besting fellow Canadian Drake and the
Beatles to debut 17 songs simultaneously
on the Hot 100 on December 5, 2015, with
his Purpose album which dropped in 2015.
Lemonade premiered on HBO April 23,
immediately followed by the exclusive
release of the bundled album (12 songs and
the film) to Tidal. On April 25, it went on
sale through other digital retailers, while
Tidal continues to hold the exclusivity for
streaming.
For those of you not into streaming or
buying music online, shout Halleluyah! The
physical copies of Lemonade will be
available on May 6.
